Home | Previous messageHello I have the Cybershot DSC-T1 and got the error E:61.00. Since Sony is so expensive to repair, I decided to buy another camera. However, after reading the crazy solution offered by some in this forum, I thought what do I have to lose... So I banged the lense with my finger while the camera was off and it did not work. I then decided to drop it while off, on a soft rug and did not work either. Finally, I thought, what the heck, and turned it on. While it was "accessing" I banged the lense on my knee cap (it did not hurt and got rid of some of my frustration). The error message was gone!!! and I was able to focus, use the lense and take picutures!!!. Thanks for this Flinstone solution. Pepito

You know what? Same problem and same solution! I got E:61:00 on my DSC-F828. I banged the lens on my knee-cap, turned the camera off and then on again and it disappeared! I am now able to auto-focus and take pictures again. Thanks for the advice WHO KNEW??? Wow it's amazing how that lil' kick on da knee works!!! Go ahead do it, it really works. I think us consumers need to share those lil wonders to the world so we don't have to pay so much for repairs, we pay enough for the product itself!! Thanks people. mon apareil n affiche plus des images sur l'ecran que faire pour ce genre de probleme Hey guys. My sony cybershot cammera did the exact exact same thing. Wen I turned the cammera off, the lens got stuck and did not want to retract at all and stayed in one position. I turn it back on and it makes a noise and gives me a error A61:00. I read your sullution and because I am a electrical engineer I just thought WTF! It's not my cammera so I had nothing to loose, so I tried it. It didn't work at first, but I hit it with my knee and the palm of my hands a few times. It didn't work. Next I wiggled the lense on the bottom a few times, and amazingly the lense retracted. Thanx man, your a life saver Holy frikkin crap! I can't believe this worked. Thanks so much! Mine got sand in it at the beach, and the E:61:00 message appeared. After several "gentle" taps on the knee were unsuccessful, I dropped it on the carpeted floor. Now it's working! Thanks for the tip! Hi i also did the same but in vain then i pick a screw deriver and open all6 screws and after open it i shake it and then pack it back when i turn it on it starts work but not properly then i again strike on it softly and it become fine and working properly. thanks thanks ... i realy dont beleave!!! its work h10 working again ... from brasil!!! Fixed mine same way thanks I dropped my camera and followed the advice banged it on my knee a couple of times and it removed the error message and I can use the camera again! It does work. |
