Hi, I recently put in a DV tape that had been damaged to see if it would still play. It wouldn't and furthermore I couldn't get it out of the camera witout forcing it. It tore of the plastic part of DV tape (which I'm not concerned about) but, I can't load other tapes and the screen keeps telling me that the camcorder is in Safeguard Mode and to take the tape out and reinsert it. That doesn't solve the problem. Now it's telling me to take off the battery and re-attach it. That doesn't work either. I think the battery is fully charged because the charge light doesn't light when I plug in the AC adapter. So I need your help. I'm not sure if I need to buy a new one or not. We unplugged our AV32890 television for a month. When we plugged in the televion, we could not get the menu to come up on the screen. Therefore the on screen tv guide is not working. The other problem is that it is very difficult to change channels, but when we go through the VCR using the same remote, we can change channels. Using the tv, there is no channel information or volume information on screen when they are first changed. We can get this information when we go through the VCR. Any suggestions about this problem?

I have the same problem that I'm reading about from a lot of other people have with JVC auto radio's - power comes on fine, display works, but no sound from front speakers. Thinking it was probably the radio unit, I purchased a new JVC radio, plugged it in, exact same problem. Now what? Any assistance would be much appreciated.

Stacy, I have a JVC Mini Dv model No. GR_DVL120U. I have rarely used it and now I have gotten an 01 error message. The tape will not eject and the camera has gone into a safety mode. I took the battery out and waited, put it back in with no result. The carriage appears to be stuck. Any help would be appreciated. Thomas

My JVC Digital Video Camera, model GR-DVL320U, just went dead. No power from AC connector or from the batteries. Yes, I know how to connect the power cord to the unit and to the wall and the batteries were fully charged. I get nothing at all. Totally dead. Help!

I have a JVC camera model GR-D90. When I go to use it, the screen is all black. I have tried everything in the manual to fix it, but it just wont fix. When you record something, you can hear the sounds, but you dont see anyting on the screen. How do I get it to work again? Thanks for the help.

I have a av-36050 a 36" JVC tv and I just got it out of storage and all the channels are blocked. so I thing it is the vchip so I go into the menu and go to vchip and turn it off and unblock all the channels but the channels are still blocked. The only channels that you can see are the local school channels. Please help me it is the only tv I have know. I dont have the original remote.
