We unplugged our AV32890 television for a month. When we plugged in the televion, we could not get the menu to come up on the screen. Therefore the on screen tv guide is not working. The other problem is that it is very difficult to change channels, but when we go through the VCR using the same remote, we can change channels. Using the tv, there is no channel information or volume information on screen when they are first changed. We can get this information when we go through the VCR. Any suggestions about this problem?

    I am not really sure why you are experiencing this problem. Your best bet is to call JVC at (800) 252-5722 and get troubleshooting assistance directly. I am sure they have someone that can be of more help than this site for this particular issue.
