I have a av32980 tv and a couple weeks ago we had a power outage. ever since then I cant get any info to display on my tv guide plus. It shows the station names for awhile and even whats on but no further info, nor does it give me the time for the next download like it use to. And quite often it resets itself and wont even show station names. I have reinitiated it in sevice mode but still having the same problem. We have a rca tv with guide plus and it works fine. What else can I do? Please help.

I got an old model camcorder (JVC) model:GR-AXM220U, has been working fine untill a tape got stuck inside and after that I get an "EO2, remove and attch battery, unit in safguard mode" message.
i cant do anything with it now, please help, I'm technical and could strip this to pieces in minutes (if only I understand what to look at.) I have since replaced the small 3v battery (cr2025) and still no joy.

Hi, I'm from Mexico, I have the same model camcorder, and the same alert, perhaps the problem is in the mechanism, what I found was that a band was removed from its pulleys. Well that was my case, I hope that this information wil be useful for you. Victor

My On Timer will not stop blinking and the television will not stay on over 10 seconds.
The On Timer blinker (red) blinks until I unplug the power and then plug it in again or until I turn the power off and on again.
The T.V. will come on after I do this but only for a few seconds and then the On Timer starts to blink again. The T.V. does not stay on long enough to change the On Timer or do anything to try to correct this problem. How can this problem be resolved?

I have the exact same problem with my TV.I found a web site where someone else was experiencing the same problem and suggested disconnecting the power for approx. 4 hours to clear the internal memory chip. Plugging back in after 4 hours should cause the TV to start with preset factory conditions. I tried it but it still does not work. Could it be my VCR that it is connected to that is causing the problem?

I have a similar problem. We had an thunderstorm and ever since the on timer light on the front of my 27'' JVC TV as been on, but there is not other power. Neither the remote or the on button will turn the TV on. Other than the red on timer light the TV is completely dead. I called the JVC service center and they recommended to turn the TV off for one hour. I -unplugged the TV for four days and still no power. Please help, Thanks

I know this sounds off-topic but it might not be... I have a Sony 52" rear projection tv... if your unit that you speak of is rear projection large screen then maybe its what sony calls the D board... mine fried from running an air conditioner. the surge from the AC fried a chip on the D board. All the set did was flash the ON/STANDBY light and sometimes there was sound and sometimes not. A relative in the repair industry repaired it for cost of parts alone and it was just over $90 cad. for the one IC that fried. Maybe JVC has the same type of over-sensitive circuitry?

Seems like a catchy problem. Exact same symptoms. Timer light continues to blink, you hear a relay clicking and nothing responds to anything. Apparently no one has received the fix for this one either. Any help would be grealty appreciated Model AV-32D201

Hi, May I inquire if your On-timer problem was fixed, and if so, how did you do it? My sister-in-law's TV is doing the exact same thing. The On Timer red light keeps blinking. When you unplug the power cord to the TV and plug it back in, then turn it on, it only stays on for about 5 seconds or so. Any help or suggestions you can provide would be GREATLY appreciated. Thanks, Kimmy

One more time...the on timer light came on last night and nothing I tried worked. If you have some info on what that means, please share. This is our main TV. Thanks.

I am also on the list... =_= I can't help but feel the only reason this is happening is because JVC didn't put a ground on there power cord.

Did anyone call a repair man to fix their LED light blinking problem? I'm trying to decide - fix it or new TV. Don't want high repair bill but if its an easy fix I'd rather do that than buy new TV.

JVC Digital Camcorder records everything great, but when you hook it up to watch on the TV you can only hear the sound and not "see" the picture. Everything had been working fine until just recently. Any suggestions for toubleshooting?

I have a JVC 27 inch TV, model AV-27BP3. Set does not turn-on, yet I can't find a bad fuse (3 checked) and there is power in the chassis.
Any suggestions on what to try, or on a JVC repair shop in Allentown PA (zip 18101)

I have a JVC GR-D30U digital video camera. When looking through the view finder or on the screen only the very brightest things can be seen, i.e. a window. You can playback a tape and it is clear as a bell. Any ideas?
