I am working on my brother-in-laws TV, a JVC AV-56WP30. I replaced the convergence amps (stk 392-110's) and resoldered several points on the bottom of the board (one was definitly cracked). The problem is that the tv when turned on gives a big thump thump heartbeat sound, and the power light is going dim/bright about every 2 seconds (Low B problem I believe) just looking for a good starting point. I have a JVC AV-48WP74 48" Widescreen HD-Ready Projection TV. When I turn it on all it does is thump like a heart beat with no picture. Any ideas on the problem? Also what should i expect to pay for to have someone look at it?

Hi, I have a J.V.C. DR-MV1 product and after two years of having it, it is acting funny. The movies that I recorded onto D.V.D.'s and played before are not playing at all. I keep getting "Disc Error" message. Factory movies play except I noticed some of the D.V.D.'s that I rented before, the player isn't recognizing those either. Someone told that with new movies that just came out there may be an anti-piracy program that downloads into your D.V.D. player so that you cannot play pirated material because factory D.V.D.'s may have a special coding that this program recognizes so the D.V.D. will play. If a D.V.D. doesnt have this code the machine will not recognize this. Any truth to this? I appreciate your help, by the way I got hold of you through the pechorin's website....thanx again.

I'm looking to purchase a JVC GR-D350U camcorder but the unit is used and I'm told that when powered on it comes up with " camera in safe mode" Is this an easy fix and how would I do it.

Hello, I have a JVC GR-D94U digital video camera. I cannot playback any mini dv's as it says the unit is in safegaurd mode. I've tried reinserting the tape and even reinserting new tapes but it will not respond. Please help.

The JVC Mini Camcorder was purchased for my daughter last Christmas. After a month's use, she took it back to Walmart because the battery wouldn't charge. They told her she probably left it on charge too long and there was nothing they could do. I JUST found out that its been sitting in the box all year. Hi, I have a 27 inch JVC TV made in Nov 1995 model # AV-26725 (I am not sure if the V is a U or not)It has no sound and is not muted and was not moved around or bumped. It just had no sound when I turned it on. We do no use the TV much, if that helps at all
