I have a JVC compact VHS camcorder model # GR-AXM17U and as soon as i open it up it pops up E02 UNIT IN SAFEGUARD MODE REMOVE AND REATTACH BATTERY it was working fine do you know what would make this do this??and how much it would cost to repair something like this??

JVC GR D30U cannot eject the cassette from unit. There is no noise or error when trying to eject the cassette. I feel that the eject slide button is doing nothing. Thanks

I have a JVC Compact VHS Camcorder GR-AXM670 How can I convert my tapes and VHS tapes on to my computer? Would I need a FireWire cable to attach my camcorder to my PC? Can a FireWall cable attach to this camcorder? How can I tell if my computer has a FireWall Port. Trying to tape movies of deceased relatives for Christmas. Thanks You and have a Merry Christmas. I have a: JVC COMPACT VHS CAMCORDER GR-AXM670 1)I would like to know the year of this camcorder 2)How I can copy from my camcorder to my Compaq computer (how would I know if it has a fire wall port) and do I need to purchase a FireWire cable to attach my camcorder to my PC? Please help, I have many tapes from my camcorder and I would like to convert to CD's for family and friends of deceased relatived for Christmas. I have been trying to research this on my own and now am getting confused.

I have a gr-dx97ek JVC Mini-DV and the same annoying condensation message. Even worse, it can not playback the previous tapes as well with stripes and no sounds. Please help me fix it or advice me to look for a new camera. Too many miss shots of my family.
