    Hi,

I have broken the lense on my Sony DSC W5 camera and was wondering with it is financially viable to fix it or not? I stupdly sat on it with the lens out on a rather hung over New years day! The lens is now bent and won't be persuaded to straighten out again!

    Yhanks very much.

    Jack

    Hi,
I have a Sony DSC-S30 digital camera. A few days ago the power button fell off and the contact underneath doesn't seem to work. I can put the button back on but its hangs off it loosely and it does nothing. The camera does work (if you plug it in it will turn on, power up, but you can't turn it off - so you have to leave it on until the battery dies out)... Sadly it's not exactly useful to me this way even though technically it DOES work... Just not real useful... Any idea if this is worth fixing? What would be the ballpark price for a fix? Please email me when you get a chance or if you have additional questions and I will see if I can answer them. :) Again thanks! --- Marina ---

Please reply to let me know if anyone has a way to repair the dial on a Sony DSC-W1. It won't stay put (constantly changes the mode) while trying to take a picture. If I hold it steady with my finger it still works, but it is very awkward to take a good picture that way.

    Thanks

I have a Sony DSC-F707 and while taking photo's at a wedding and my screen and view finder went black. The camera still functions and I can see the menus and can view images on my memory card but when set to take pictures all I get is a black screen, its almost as if I have the lens cap on, but its not. Can you help with this problem?

    Thank you,
    Ronda

The same thing happened to me. While taking pictures I turned away to close a window and when I looked back the screen was black. I can still look at the images I took before it went black and the options still show, but not one bit of the image comes through, just black. If I take a picture it comes up as black on my computer. I've tried setting every possible option differently and still the black. If anyone knows how to fix this please let me know. Thank you and Happy Christmas... Liz

Hi My Sony Cyber - shot camera was dropped (not my me!) and the lens wont open - and it displays something like turn off and on again - but then turns off However when I turn it to the function to review photos - I still can as well as deleting them - I really need this fixing is it worth it!! Please let me know and the sort of cost involved. Thanks Kerrie
