Re[2]: Sony DSC MVC camera repairs

i have a sony cybershot 5.0 mega pixela camera. evey time i take a picture there ia a streak of line that runs across the photo. i think some steam might have got inside. i dont want to throw away the camera as it takes great phots.
can you please tell me if there is anything that i can do or do i have to throw away the camera
