The plastic catch on the place where the batteries fit has snaaped off and this bit looks relatively easy to replace I hope. The model is a cybershot DSC-W12

I turned on my camero and it had pink and orange streaks across it as you view the picture, I turned it off and on and it was normal but the next time I turned it on it was the same and it has stayed that way, with no changes.

    Sony MVC-CD400...

The camera boots up just fine, although when it's time to take a picture, colorful lines appear all around the image. It happens when taking the picture, and when viewing the picture. I'm thinking it has to do with the CCD... My question is, do I have to buy a new CCD or a totally new camera?
