Hi, my camera is only about 4 months old. It is a Sony cyber-shot DSC-W120 and out of no where it stopped working. I tried turning it on but the lenses seem stuck about halfway and it shuts down immediately.

Sony DSC W1. My camera is 3 years old and has stopped working. When you press the power button it tries to come on then goes off immediately. If you turn the dial to view your photos, the shutter opens and stays open even when turned off. I have reset it without success. By turning it on 30 - 40 times I can get it to shut...but thats it. Hi, I'm considering to get my camera repaired. The only problem seems to be the damaged display - the upper part is completely useless, and since I can't set up the camera without seeing the settings on the display... you get it. I actually slept on the camera. It still makes downloadable, nice pictures in "Landscape" mode (the last mode it was set up to). Do you think it's worth repairing this problem of the Sony? How much do you think replacing the Sony display would be? Or should I just buy a new camera? Best regards, Csaba Csernatoni

Hi, I have broken the lense on my Sony DSC W5 camera and was wondering with it is financially viable to fix it or not? I stupdly sat on it with the lens out on a rather hung over New years day! The lens is now bent and won't be persuaded to straighten out again! Yhanks very much. Jack
