  My Cyber-shot is displaying the E:91:01 error and resetting does not work. The flash is toast. Is it worth repairing? Has anyone done this?

    Did you ever fix this? I have the same error in my camera and was told that it would cost £175 by the Sony Centre staff! Almost more than the camera cost!

  Well, i suppose it is a popular thing for lcd screens to break. I was wondering how much it would cost to replace the lcd screen on my Sony DSC-W5? it has a horrid crack but the camera still works fine. any help/estimate would be great, thanks!

  I purchased a Sony Cybershot Camera DSC-S500 on 11/27/07 online from COMP USA. The camera was only used twice, i went to use it and the screen is black mark which resembles that of shatters. The camera was not dropped not nothing placed on it. The camera has remained in a SONY padded case since it was purchased. Is there anyway that the camera can be repaired.
