- Sony DSC-L1 Camera Part Keven Staley - 21st Jun 2007 2:02
Alex, I am looking for the navagation button daughter board for the DSC-L1 Sony Cybershot camera. I have the part number off of the circuit board and I was wondering if you knew where I could find it and how much it costs. The number is as follows:
1-864-286-11
A generalized description: It is a "L" shaped board that has 3 tiny buttons at the bottom, a small battery on the right-hand side, a small 1/2" speaker on the top right of the board. Near the "elbow" of the board is the multi-directional navigation button. It has broken off the "tabs" and I can't get it to "stick" back on with solder. I feel that it is best to get a new board and forgo the headache of trying to repair it. Thank you in advance.

I'm having the exact same problem with my Sony DSC- S60 camera. It first shows the word "Access" on the screen, then beeps and tells me to turn the camera off and on again, all the time the lens is stuck on the extended position. I can turn the darn thing on and off 100 times and zilch, nada...If you have the solution to this problem, please e-mail me! Thanks!

I have a Sony DSC-T1 that I have had since it came out. Finally after many years of service I hace my first problem. I believe it may be the ccd sensor, the lcd screen works fine for viewing pictures on the camera but when it comes to taking pictures everything is Black. The display still shows battery life, pictures remaining etc but no physical picture. If anyone knows what the fix is or if there is anything I can do to fix it, that would be great. If it's the sensor I'd definately need to get one.
Thanks

I have a Sony Cyber-shot 6.0 (DSC-W30), th shutter is stuck and doesn't go back in. The message Access comes on then tells me to turn camera on and off. I do, and it makes the noise of the shutter moving back and forth but it still doesn't go in.
Any idea how much something like this problem will cost me?

We have the same problem with our DSC-S90. We tried using a can of compressed air to blow out anything that was maybe stuck between the lens pieces. That seemed to work once, but the lens is stuck again. We had seen the "Turn on and off" message intermittently over the past two years or so. I really like the camera and would like to get it repaired. Someone must be able to help us out!

RayZ - 22nd Dec 2007 2:06 It is possible for a lot of dirt to build up around the outside of the lens assembly. I was able to get mine to work by removing the 4 screws (one is in the battery compartment) and taking the shell off. I was then able to see a layer of dirt/sand around the lens. When I cleaned that out the lens started working again

Robert Farrell - 25th Jun 2007 18:38 I have lost the Charger and Power cord that came with the Camera, p-200, The charger's I have seen do not have the capability to plug in and use the camera while working on line or connected to a Printer. Where can I find a power cord and charger, and is their a simple cigerett charger that will plug directly into the camera with out taking the Battery Out.
Thank you.
