Re: Sony DSC MVC camera repairs
Steve - 12th Jun 2006 23:09
I have a Sony Cybershot DSC-P10 model for about 3 years. Three days ago it fell while the lens was open. Now, the lens cannot retract although I can still hear it "trying" to. It looks like the lens is screwed on wrong. Is this fixable. It gave me a "Turn power off and on again" message, but nothing happened. How much would this cost? Thanks for any info. Steve

christian - 21st Jun 2006 11:33 Hi! Similar Problem: The camera (P200) was dropped approx. 2 weeks ago and showed an error message “E:61”. The zoom was faulty afterwards but the problem resolved after resetting the camera.
A few days later, however, the same error code re-occurred and since then the zoom has not been working despite resetting etc.
Is this likely to be mechanical or a "common" electr./ circuit problem?
How much would it be to repair it? Thanks! PS: I live in the UK.

Hello,
I read your problem about your Sony digital camera. Did you ever get it fixed? If so would you mind telling me how? I would appreciate your help.
Thanks!!
