Solved the no power problem for JVC GR-D70U There are several small SMD fuses on the main circuit board in the top side left hand corner just next to the molex header that connects to the battery, dc input board. Of these three black fuses with white numbers on them, I found only two still conducted and so the 'faulty' one I shorted across by cleaning and the use of conductive silver paint (RS Components). You should then find that the 11V supply can be measured here with a multimeter. Ideally the fuse should be replaced rather than shorted, but I am lazy. PS try and note where all the screws go as there are about four different lenths! Sam

Hi there, I am totally frustrated! For a year now, I have been trying to get my GR-D32U mini DV to connect to my computer. 3 Differnt computers will not recognize it. I have tried internal firewire cards, and PCMCIA. Any suggestions? If this doesn't work soon I am going to bouyancy test it. and buy a non JVC camera to replace it. Thanks

hi, i have a gr-dvl725u. I do not have the serial number because it has been ripped off. My camera says it is in safe guard mode and to reattach the battery. It is error EO2. I follow the instructions and it keeps doing the same thing. i also think it is wierd that i am able to still use mempry mode just perfectly and take as many photos as i want. If u know anything i could do that would be great.

Hi, I have a 7-year old JVC tv (model#: AV-2749S, serial#: 17417631) where the sound does not work (even when volume is up to max) when my antenna is connected to the tv. Also, the picture turns off when the tv is slightly shaken or moved. Do you have any "fix it" tips I can do at home? If it needs to be serviced professionally, do you know how much it might cost? Thanks!

I have a JVC TV model No. AV32150. We had a lightning strike in the corner of our house several days ago. Now I cannot turn on my TV either by the remote control or the ON/OFF button on the TV. Is there some reset button that I can press to re-activate the system. Thank you.

My JVC RX-707V digital surround sound reciever was working fine. However I disconnected it and installed it in another room of the house and now when I turn it on I get sound out of the speaker but the sound is extremely low I have to turn the volume almost all the way up the even hear the faintest sound . If you can help me with this problem it would be greatly appreciated.

I have a JVC MX-KB30 Stereo. It worked without problem for a few months after I bought it, then quit coming on and staying on. If you power it up, it says 'hello' , stays on for a few seconds, then says 'goodbye' and shuts back off. Everything seems to be okay, and it seems to come on fine, it just won't stay on more than a couple of seconds. Twice we have had the experience of being able to get it back up and running fine, but on both occasions, it started doing this same thing again within 24 hours. When we can manage to get it on and keep it on, it runs quite well, no problems. We just can't get it to come on and stay on. Any help you could give would be greatly appreciated.
