i switched on my set after being away 4 at least 2 months but it keeps asking for a password however i dont know it & dont remember setting. How do i overcome/override it?

Hi, I have jvc gr-d250 camcorder that gives the error code 01,"Unit is in safeguard mode, remove battery and re-attach". However when I remove the battery and reattaches it I get the same message. I even bought a new battery. Please Help!

i am having problems with the JVC cd player i'm trying to put in my 2002 ford focus mach audio. the deck worked fine for a day then the radio fuse blew and the deck wont completly work. it will eject the cd and show the time..but if you hit the power button it wont stay on..fuse is fine in both deck and car..plus i put the factory deck in to make sure it wasnt something with the wiring in the car..but the factory deck works fine...any help would b appreciated

I HAVE A JVC DIGITAL VIDEO CAMERA THE MODEL NUMBER GR-D31U. WHEN I TURN ON THE CAMCORDER I EITHER GET A BLACK SCREEN OR IT IS BLACK AND WHITE WITH GRAY WAVY LINES. TRIED CLEANING THE LENS AND IT DIDNT WORK. COULD YOU PLEASE TELL ME HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM?

hello... i have a JVC 56wp30 TV. it has worked very well for the last three years. yesterday morning i used it...no problems...later the same evening, the screen has multiple red lines going across it. the same thing happens whether i use cable, dvd or vcr. the tv has not been moved for over 9 months. pls suggest a fix. thx

Hello... I have a JVC digital video recorder (model GR-D72U).... It is ~2 years old.... I used the camera early this week (monday) and it was fine.... Today, when recording, the viewing window became somewhat "white-ish" (as if too much light was on the subjects - i.e., all the colors were being washed out)..... Then, after a little while, the viewing window aquired a sort of "zig-zag" color patterm (image a center line running through the window - left to right - and off of that center line, colored lines were extending - top to bottom -)... at first i thought that this was simply the viewing screen acting up... these problems however: 1) show up on the tape (when played back) 2) show up in the viewing window (without any tape in the camera) Do you have any idea what this could be??? Any suggestions on how i can go about fixing this?? Thanks...

Stacy, I originally bought my JVC camcorder model no. GR-D90U in August of 2003. It has worked wonderfully until now. I was using it to record and then switched it to the play mode to review what I had just filmed. After watching it and wanting to switch it back to the record mode, I realized I couldn't. The mechanical switch that allows you to put it to the M, A, OFF, and PLAY modes is stuck and won't move. I haven't been able to record anything since. I am currenting studying overseas in Australia and am not sure if it can be fixed here, but I would really like it for the rest of my time spent here. Any suggestions??

hi i have a jvc gr-dx77u and have had it for a couple of years and all of a sudden it has stopped working. It won't even turn on, it won't turn on even when it's plugged into a outlet, nothing. Please help Bill Gallagher

I have a JVC GR-D90U and on a recent trip, it stopped working. I have had it for 2 years, but probably have only used it for a maximum of 10 hours of recording time. When I plug it in and charge it, the red charge light turns on, but if I move it to another mode, it does not make any sound or change at all. The only thing that happens is the red charge light turning on. The least I want to do is to get my tape out.

I have just purchsed a vehicle with a JVC KC-S790 CD reciever. I'd like to get or review a manual or retail instructions to understand the features and how to adjust and change them. Any help is appreciated. Thanks
