Hi, I just bought a new car and want to remove my JVC KD-S5050 from my old car (a 95 Mercury Tracer) and install it in my new one (a 2000 Mazda 626). I was wondering what I will need to buy/know to remove the radio. I think I might need handles to remove the pocket - I was looking at a removal guide. Where would I find that? Hope to hear from you soon! Thanks so much, Amanda

I can't turn my TV on or off with the remote. Appears it is not in stand-by mode but nothing in the the manual about this. Once turned on manually the remote works fine as does everything else. I can not turn the TV on with the on/off button but when I hit the AV button it works?

We have the same problem with the JVC GR-D90U and since buying a new battery does not solve the problem, what is the solution? Thanks, Albino Pinho

I have a JVC I'Art 56" RPTV and I am pretty sure my convergence board has gone bad. The picture is going 3-D on the left of my screen. When I run the convergence it is as lined up as poss. The TV is only 4 years old and I am not happy with JVC right about now considering what it cost. Can you help change my opinion on JVC?

I have a jvc d'art flat screen tv (not a lcd or plasma) that is approx 5 yrs old. Today the tv developed a problem- it has a large black rectangle in the middle of the picture. When I press the volume or another button it briefly goes away but then returns within 15 seconds. What is causing this and how can I get my picture back? Thanks.

I am getting a big black box on the lower half of my screen. I cannot get the model # as the TV is too big for me to lift or get behind. I got a little information at jvc support online, but it didn't work. The following is what I brought up and tried. I do not have a closed caption button, so I tried the steps. At step 3, I get 2 lines, Mode and Text. Each line has a setting, Mode has CC1,CC2,CC3 & CC4. Text has T1,T2,T3 & T4. So I wasn't able to do as instructed below. Can you help me get this off of my TV? Thanks and Merry Christmas. (Info I got earlier but didn't work.) I get a big black square box covering 90% of my picture. This is a function of the closed caption circuit available for future use called text mode. Simply press close the caption button on the TV remote until the square disappears. If your TV doesn't have the closed caption button on the remote you will need to do the following: 1. Bring up the menu and highlight closed caption. 2. Press the Volume + button to access this menu. 3. When you enter this menu it will say Mode Text. 4. Press the Volume + button until it says Mode Off. 5. Then press the Channel up“ button and highlight Finish. 6. Then press the Volume + button to save your settings.
