We have the JVC digital video camera GR-D33U. The "lens cap on" message that has been mentioned in several postings is also happening to us. How do we clear this error? I have the same problem as above, I reset the camera once through the menu option and it fixed the problem for approximately 6 months, however it is occurring again and the reset option does not fix it. Any advice

I am not getting an image from the lens on the viewfinder or eyepiece on my GR-DV500U. I have gone through the menu several times trying to correct the problem. The playback of a tape works fine. Just nothing through the lens. I have read the troubleshooting section of the manual and found nothing to cover this problem. When I initially turn on the camera, it indicates that the lens cover is on, but I have removed it and still no picture. Any suggestions? Thanks

Our JVC television AV-48WP55 has no sound. We are hooked up with Direct TV and they have tried to troubleshoot with us and thus far no luck. If you have any suggestions we are open for them. Thanks!

I am trying to help a friend with her GR-D33U camcorder. She has a laptop with Windows Vista and we are looking for a driver for the camcorder. She does not have any cd's, and her computer is not recognizing the camera when she plugs it in. Can you provide me with a link for the driver or the driver itself? thank you, Amy Porter

I have a GR-DF430 JVC Digital video camera. I get the message "Unit in safefuard mode. Please remove and re-attach the battery" I reattached the battery several times and I still get the same message. I checked the battery power by pressing the battery check button and battery is at 50% capacity, so the battery is not the issue. I also cleaned the contacts on the battery and on the contacts that are on the camera itself. Please help me... I've only used this camera twice. The camera is two years old, but still it shouldnt go out this quick especially since I've used only twice. I've used JVC products in the past and have had very good success and am sure you can help me with this. thanking you in advance for your prompt attention to this matter Robert Bulliard office 3372898893 or cell 3372777378
