My JVC30GB hard drive camera /video always says lens cap on. It shows the information on the screen just no picture HELP!

I have been unable to code my Sky Box Remote control (standard Sky box)to enable the control of other TV functions such as volume etc using the Sky remote as I am normally able to do. When I contacted Sky, they also were unable to help me resolve this problem. The TV is a comparatively old CRT 21" Model C-21TX1EK. Sky instructed me to input 0681 as the relevant code. The code for the TV's own remote appears to be 11422 or 11423 Sky gave me directions on which buttons to press on their remote control in preparing for input of the relevant code but, when I attempted to use 0681 as they directed, this did not work. (Note: the process they directed me to use worked ok for another of my TVs using a different code number. So their process seems ok but the code number they have for my JVC TV Model appears to be wrong) Can you advise the correct code that should be used? Jim

Stacy Sample I have a JVC TH-M505 and when the powered sub volume or the bass is increased; the receiver keeps playing but the sub and speakers shut off. Would you have any idea why this is . If you could E-mail me back if you have any idea I would really Appreciate it . Thank you, Kevin Merlini

HAVE A JVC CAMCORDER, BELIEVE IT IS A GRD 22U. HAVE A CONDENSATION PAUSE MESSAGE. THIS SAME CAMERA WAS SENT IN FOR A RECALL FIX FOR THE MAIN CCD AND REPAIRED FOR FREE. HOW CAN I FIX THIS NEW PROBLEM?

I have a JVC GR 303 VHS-C Camcorder that I just purchased at a local surplus store. The camera powers on, displays picture, the tape deck ejects fine, it plays back video recorded on other VHS-C cameras fine; however, when I go to record I make sure to have it set to Record on the control panel, that the camera beeps, and that it says that it is recording in the top right corner of the screen. The front light doesn't come on when it says it's recording and when I go back to play the footage I find nothing was actually recorded. The VHS-C tapes are brand new and record fine on other cameras, and the safety tab is in place on the cassette. I'm wondering if there is any cheap fix to this or if it is just a lost cause. I also noticed that the camera didn't have the little watch-like battery in the very bottom--I'm not sure if that is important or not. If you can provide any help or advice I'd greatly appreciate it. Over the last couple of months my JVC Camcorder (GR-DVL157E) has become a bit unreliable. It told me I needed to clean the heads, then went into safe mode, then told me I needed to remove and replace the battery. The time and date code don't always show. Record and playback were intermittent, but now record does not seem to work at all. It still plays back older tapes. Hope you can help! Colin
