Hi Stacy, Can you please send me the troubleshooting solution for the lens cap error, no picture. I have a GR-DX95EK. Appreciate it very much, Happy New year! Joseph Hi, Don't know if you can help me but here goes: Sold my old JVC GR-AX2 VideoMovie analog camcorder a week ago to a guy in another state. I had used it probably ten times years ago. Got it out, mint condition, tested fine. Sold with all original accessories, cables, etc., and an unopened package of three TC-30 tapes (Maxell HGX-Gold). Buyer emailed to say it only records/plays back in black & white! He said the following: "I knew the view finder would show b/w. When we record and play back in the VCR, it shows up b/w. "Very old color TV. VCR plays other tapes fine. Tried all 3 tapes with same results, read book and have tried every control. It needs a battery for the clock memory. Going to replace it and also get a new tape. I'll keep trying. When I asked him if he could hook up the camcorder directly to the TV for a "closed circuit" video connection, he said... "TV not that modern. VCR connects with coaxial cable, not RCA type connectors. TV does not have those type of jacks on it." (Shouldn't he be able to hook up camera to the line-in of the VCR, and still see vid on tv monitor?) I am mystified. I sold it with a 7-day warranty, on the condition that he supply me with diagnosis from authorized JVC repair facility in the case that the camera did not function properly. I get the feeling he lives far from any JVC dealer/repair shop. It's been more than 7 days, but it has been the holidays and I'm not a stickler. Would appreciate any insight or comments as to why he is not seeing color video. Did the camera magically stop working from the day I shipped it to the day he received it? Camera was used only gently, stored properly and never dropped or banged (by me...). Truly, it looked brand new and never gave me any problem. Thanks much. Caine I have a 27 inch JVC TV - model AV-27020. This has worked flawlessly for years until today. I have a standard cable feed and typically get all channels from 2-72. Suddenly today I lost a number of channels - the only ones the autoscan finds now are 2-15 and 17-19. Other TVs hooked to the same cable feed see all channels normally. I have powered the TV off completely (unplugged) and re-autoscanned several times - no change. Any suggestions would be appreciated. i need the software for JVC DX25E. pls help me, waiting for your reply. I have a problem with my camcorder. The model is JVC GR-D270U. The problem is that once the camera is turned on and in automatic recording mode, it automatically zooms to the max. For this camcorder, the zooming toggle also function as the volume. So, when I playback some movies, as expected the audio is very loud. Thanks. Ron Have JVC Model GR-SXM161 Compact VHS Camcorder for about 3(?) years. When trying to video or play tape it stops and gives error message about reattaching battery. When opening to remove tape, I find tape is caught in camera. any suggestions? thanks you i have jvc GR-D33AS digital video camera during recording some time the screen become blanck but during play it work nice Hi, My 32" JVC TV has a huge black box in the center of the screen. It will still play the dvd, vcr, and regular cable.. you can hear and see about an inch of the show on the edges, but thats about it. What's causing this black box??? Thanks! I have a AD-s640 car stereo. I charged up the car battery and when I got in the car the stereo was on whithout the Key being on and had 06600 or somthing like that then read error 16 and now reads error 10 for the last several days. So what does error 10 mean? The radio doesn't work, the CD plays a little then ejects. Thanks for your help. JVC TH-M303 home theatre system. I was watching a DVD last night and the sound abruptly went out. The green light on the sub-woofer stayed on. The system did not "reset" after turning it off. I checked the fuses in the DVD unit as well as in the sub-woofer enclosure. All connections are secure. Any ideas? I hate the thought of spending much to get this system fixed - overall quality was a bit of a disappointment. Thanks Ross |
