Hi Stacy. I have a very strange and annoying problem with my JVC 27" TV. It is model # AV 27F476, purchased in August of 2005. When I mute the TV or turn the sound all the way down, I hear a local radio station (98.8FM) coming through! How can I fix this? It is not the cable as it happens when I unhook it. Not the surge strip, and not the DVD player for the same reason. Hope you have an answer. I always buy JVC when possible and have had no trouble until this happened. Sincerely, Sarah Phelps

Dear stacy: When I us JVC GR-DX97U for video, it almost every time selfzooming to 12x,I can hold steady the zoom back to 1x,but can not stay in any zoom stage except 12x. I need you help Thank you

I have a JVC Video recorder, the model is DR-MX1S. When I plugged my unit into the mains the main fuse inside the machine blew. It has to be said that the switch on the socket on the wall was switched in the on position when I plugged the machine in - could this have caused the main fuse to blow. Two questions I have are: 1. Which fuse is required to replace it 2. Is it safe to replace the fuse? Thank you for your help George Clarke

I have a jvc vcr/dvd recorder, model dr-mv5. It has worked well for several years. Then one day, it simply would not power on. When you pushed the power button, the only thing that happened was the two green lights (DVD and VCR leds) on the front of the unit to flash continuously...with no other unit or remote buttons operable. Same thing happens when you unplug the unit for an hour/day/week/etc then try to turn it back on. Any suggestions? Hoping the unit is not toast.

I have a JVC digital video camera GR-D244u. the veiw finder does not work if you close the LCD screen the camera will not work, but if you open the LCD screen you can record.I can not find my manual. is there something that is turned off or what should i be looking for to fix the problem. how can i get a manual.

Hi Stacy, We recently (a little over a year ago) bought a JVC GR-D72U. We have used it occasionally and just the other day we get a black screen with an error message "lens cap" (of course the cap is not on the camera. Are you familiar with this error message? Thanks and regards from NY, Jennifer

I am getting the same error message as several other people. I have a GR-D72u which is only about 3 years old. It has less than 100 hours of use. I pulled it out for Christams today and I only get a black screen. It gives me the error message regarding the "lens cap," but the lens cap is off. I checked everything and performed a camera reset (back to the factory default settings). Other people are indicating that this is a manufacturing defect and that the chip may be bad. The result is a $300 fix? The camera plays tapes fine and will record sounds, but no picture. Could it really be a bad chip? If so, what are my options? Kendall
