GOOD DAY, THANK YOU HAVE THE Handycam DCR-DVD610, dealing with blows to the base and the slow, NADA, NOT REALLY VERY STRONG. Then I gave two strokes SOFT IN THE BACK AND SURPRISE, NO ERROR ...... THANK YOU I can't believe that actually worked. What's the real problem, though? if the smacks did not work keep ur cameras off for 5 days nd open it again w8 for 10 sec and done my zooming and focus doesnt work. and also i cant take pictures. i have a DSC-T2... anyone wanna help me Just wanted to say thanks for the tip, worked a treat. Ive got a DCR-DVD106 with the same error code. Gave it an initial bang, that didn't work, whacked it a few more times to no avail. Got a litte more adventurous (thought if it's broken it's not going to get anymore broken) and dropped it a few inches into my kitchen worktop on each side and what do you know - fixed! Thanks again. Heather Thank goodness for you people! I was quoted $341 to send my Sony DCR-DVD403 camcorder for repair when the E:61:10 message came on. My autofocus was not working at all. With 2 good smacks on the back of the camcorder, it now works! I was apprehensive at first because I not one to advocate abusing a piece of electronic. I tried smacking it on the LCD side first, then on the front side with no results. I kept reading the posts until someone said smack on the BACK of the camera. AND, whala! I'm good to go! I really appreciate all the posts. It really works!!! THANKS SO MUCH FOR YOUR RECOMENDATION Thats amazing! My is a DSC -T70 about 1.5 years old and I have never had any problems with until today. I googled this problem and I be darn 2 smacks on the LCD side as mack a baby. after I turned the camera on and my camera is working again. I. Thanks for the information. Thank you so much for this wonderful and absolutely simple proposal. It does really work with my SONY DSCF 707. It saved me a lot of many. That crap actually worked. I lokoed this up for my neighbor and he tried it in front of me. WOW. how crazy Brilliant, i had a F707 from a friend, for a little music clip, and surprise i won a E:61:10, i was disperate and may friend too, so i was even disperate. I read all the post from google about this problem and i was very sad. When i saw the ideea of "hitting the camera" i was very sceptic.... butit worked and i saw myself dancing arond my room :P Thanx for this hint |
