Amazing! The "two wacks method" solved my problem!!! Well blow me down if the "two wacks" doesn't work on my Sony DCR-PC9 as well. I had forgotton I'd dropped mine back at the airport. Firm wacks against the palm of your hand works - although mine took about six wacks! Kept the power off. Have a DSC-P50 -- two whacks and error code clears and I have zoom and focus again -- thanks for saving me a sure 500 bucks for a new camera. OMG i thought it was a joke at first but it actually works. You only need to hit the camera on the floor and voila no more E:61:10 error message the same problem displaying in my cam recorder e:61:10 please HELPPPPPPP!!!!!! what can i do to fix it thanks The smacking method is really a life saver. I just fixed my good old SONY TRV75 with few hard smacks. It works okay for now. I am not sure if it will happen again. Thanks for the tip and thanks for a google search on E:61:10 LOL Belive or not, the smacking method works ! I have just tried on my TRV-22 and the zoom is working fine now ! I should have tried it before my daughter's birthday, which is now very badly recorded (no zoom or image adjust), but I didn't try google until now...isn't it funny ? Kind regards from Madrid (Spain) P.S. My smack wasn't very strong. Just a couple of light hits near the lens barrel. well i have the same message, i couldnt believe what you guys were saying on how to fix it, hit it with the power off. well the first couple of times it didnt work, so of course the hits got a little harder each time, by the 4th time, the message was gone and it works fine. thanks for the high tech advise, the larger hammer trick!!!!!! FULL RESPECT !! to the inventor of the " 2 Whacks" method. After looking around for the solution for the E:61:10 error, me and mate got to this website and after reading a few and we wre shocked and amazed by the 2 Whacks method but it acctually works WOW... Camera: DSC-T1 SAD BUT TRUE...... Incredible! who is the first smart guy who thought of this smacking method? *big hug* |
