The "whack method" saved the day while in Perth, Australia. Now what's a smart price for a new 717? Shoot I tried the smacking thing right now, and the error message went away but my zoom and focus still don't work! Any other recommendations? i had this same problem and i wacked the shit out of it more than twice lol,but that one message is gone away and its more clear but it wont zoom in anymore : p oh well jus gotta be happy with what i have. OMG ya'll just saved me..just like what the other post said..foudn this error...placed lens on camera. camera turned off. wacked lens. now no error and camera working..THANK YOU!!! Three smacks, thanks :) Poland; DSC T5 The contacts need cleaned for the memory card reader. I took pics when I did it if any wants to see them. Thank you Jebus for the internet!!!! Works like a charm! I don't want you to get alarm, but, muy camera has also these letters E:61:10 and I wanteted to know why was it. So, I serched in the ned and I find a person which happens the same and that in the shop they tell it it was because inside the camera the found sand and the cost to repare your camera will be similar to the cost you pay for buying it. I have the same problem than you and I don't know really what to do because I love my camera but I think the cost to repare these problem its a little bit expensive. I'm soory. But, the best thing you ca Oh man I was way too scared to drop my camera or smack it on something too hard.. So I slapped it on my hand - not very hard, and only once - and now it works perfectly :-) I was so amazed, whoever thought of that, I would totally buy a pint. Thanks heaps! I was getting rather distressed - already have to send my SLR away, didn't want to have to send my DCR-SR85 as well!! |
