I have JVC video camera model GR-D50 purcahsed about 2years Back. During the past one year it remained unused. Now when we tried to open it for making movie the almost black screen is appearing and no colour or pictutre is apearing on screen. Kindly advise how to tackle with this problem. Thank you.

Please help, when I try to use my JVC GR-DX28EK, it tells me that the lens cap is still on "Lens Cap" and it is definately NOT. Any Ideas?

JVC DX25EK Camcorder error When I try to record, it gives as error about the "lens Cap" even though the cap is not closed. The screen stays black. The playback is ok though. I saw the same problem with another person in your archive. Pls help.

Hi I have the JCV 32WFPIEK unit for the last 5-years and it has served me well here in the UK. However, it has just started to exhibit large convex picture curvature on both vertical edges. My observation is that the zoom function is malfunctioning? Your comments would be appreciated and if my diagnosis is correct, is it easy to fix? Best Regards, Stewart

Hi, the problem I'm having is that the dv tape has footage on it, but the camera isn't showing it. All I see is blue screen. When I decide to rewind, it does for a little while then I get this error message; (eject and reinsert tape unit in safeguard mode) I don't know how to get it out of safeguard mode or how to see my footage when I was working fine just before. Can anyone help me? Thankx in advance.
