My camera is the JVC GR-DF430. It's in safe guard mode. I can't use it or get the tape out. I've tried reattaching the battery like it says to do but it won't come out of safe guard mode. Will you please help me? -Emily

I have a JVC GR-D250U camcorder, and I continually get a message that says "UNIT IN SAFEGUARD MODE 03" and then switches to a message that says "EJECT AND REINSERT TAPE 03" and these 2 messages just keep alternating back and forth. What do I do?

i have a JVC KD-SH 909. We've had it about 3 years - bought it new. Show error code on display ERR12 (or 21 not sure) when press the button on right conner to adjust the angle ERR01 when press the button to open to insert disc. i cant' insert disc and can't adjust the angle of the display what do i need to be replaced/fixed? thanks [onnthewitch at gmail.com]

I have a JVC GR-DV800U mini dv camera. I don't have an owners manual and am having trouble getting any of the buttons to work so that I can do things such as set the time and date, adjust focus, or get into the menu. Is there something wrong with it or am I just doing something wrong? Thank you Greg

Hi. We have a JVC GR-SXM250. We've had it about two years - bought it new. We have used it very little and so usually the battery was dead. It's always worked fine though, until one day I started to recharge the battery. The camera would not light up - I have removed and replaced the tape cartridge, the battery and checked the power supply with my vom - which showed a charge. the camera will not light up at all - no matter what i do. I haven't taken it apart because I don't know what i'd be looking for - other than a broken wire. We have barely used this and would love to get it working again. We know that high prices are charged for repairs so we can't do that and are just doing without right now. can you give us some ideas on what the problem might be and how much jvc would charge to repair it. We paid about $250.00 for it. Thanks much. John Hansen

I have a jvc gr-d33u video camera. the camera actes like the lens cap is still on (but is not). I can play video off from the camera and it will play in the display window. Can you Help? Thanks Rick

I have JVC GRD20EK model Camcorder, it has some display problem, only color vertical lines are shown on LCD in shoot/camera mode, play mode the display is proper. Please let me know the exact cause of the problem and how to repair it. Thanks, Adhithan.

I have a JVC GR-D90U Camcoder, and I had it for years but after not using it for a while maybe 6 months. The screen was blue when I turned it on for the first time and it seemed like nothing wasn't working but I could record, but it was turning out blue. Everything turned blue, I couldn't even watch previously recorded video, because the screen on it was blue.
