Hi. We have a JVC GR-SXM250. We've had it about two years - bought it new. We have used it very little and so usually the battery was dead. It's always worked fine though, until one day I started to recharge the battery. The camera would not light up - I have removed and replaced the tape cartridge, the battery and checked the power supply with my vom - which showed a charge. the camera will not light up at all - no matter what i do. I haven't taken it apart because I don't know what i'd be looking for - other than a broken wire. We have barely used this and would love to get it working again. We know that high prices are charged for repairs so we can't do that and are just doing without right now. can you give us some ideas on what the problem might be and how much jvc would charge to repair it. We paid about $250.00 for it. Thanks much. John Hansen
