I have a brand-new GR-DF450. There is no image in the LCD or viewfinder, as if the lens cap were on. Able to view menu pages, but no view through the lens. The unit records, but only audio. Please advise. Thank you.

Model GR-D72u The eye is not seeing anything. When I turn it on, the lens cap warning flashes for a few seconds and then turns off. the manual focus adj icon is displayed and the DID icon. The last video displayed shows the picture to fade to black but the fade was not turned on. I turned it on and off again and nothing. I reset the camera and still nothing. Everything else works fine and I barely have used the cam so I think I might have overlooked something. Please help. Joe

I have a JVC Model # GR-D30U camcorder and when you try to close the tape deck, it stays closed for maybe 1 second before opening back up! It worked fine until we went on a cruise and now doesn't work! We were on the fourth island and it said condesation, it wouldn't work! A few months later we went to try it and it closed but it wouldn't play or record. So we bought a cleaning casset, after that it worked. When we got home we tryed it and it went back to doing the same problem as before not closing!! Also randomly saying condensation! HELP!! Thanks!

hi i just got a 2nd hand jvc t.v. modelc-20cl4. i have a universal remote and the closed captioning is on. i can't turn it off. i tried through the t.v. menu which doesn't have many options., just colour options. please help it's so annoying thanks andie

i bought the gr-df470 digital video camera .Afrer 2 months it staarted giving the problem.It does not work on battery ,also battry charging LED remains always OFF. i have hardly only used it a couple of times and due to this problem have not been able make use of it. please help.I have two batteries and both are behaving same way. model number GR-DVM90U error message appears when I turn on the camcorder. It tells me it is in safe mode and to re-insert the battery. I put the battery back in; however it does not take it out of safe mode.

I did get this "VTR WARNING (HARD)" message on a JVC GY-DV300 that was purchased in 9/2002. Followed by this warning came a long numeric code. I replicated the problem twice and two different numeric codes came up. I can send picts of the viewfinder message. We followed the manual's directions to remedy this, didn't work. I got the tape out and it went away. Put the tape back in and I got this problem again. So now what? Ship out for repair?
