Are you still available for providing information? I have a GR-D270 which had some mechanical issues that I corrected but not before the plastic gear on the load motor assy chewed itself up. The gear is removable but I found that it does not appear to be available without buying the complete loading motor assembly at quite a high price. Do you know if this gear is now being made available seperately? (The assembly P/N is LYH30421, it has two worm gears and one round "regular" style gear that actually engages with a metal gear on the M2 assembly. It's the round regular gear that needs replacing.) I have a new computor and cannot get my camcorder to conect to any program, it conects but will not record onto the computor for me to make a DVD the number of my recorder is JVC Model D25OEK ser no 170P0039 I would be gratful for your help as I like taking pictures of my grandchildren for there future. maybe I need a new disc or perhaps I can download a conection thank you for your help Anne Tubb (Mrs)

I have a jvc gr-axm230 everytime i try to use it the E-03 unit in safeguard mode appears. I've tried removing the battery but it doen't work, it also tangles the tape inside out. thank- you for your help...

Hello, I own a JVC camcorder model number GRD3OU and it has worked great for the last couple of years. Although, today when i wanted to view one of my videos, i could not because the tape holder would not open even though i switched the button to open it. I tried pulling it out a little bit, just to see if something was stopping it but i did not wnat to break it. Has this happened with anyone else before? I wouldn't know what the problem is but i do know it's not from dropping it, cuase i have never dropped it before. What is worng with my camcorder? From, Joey W.
