SONY C:13:01 ERROR I get error C:13:01 in SONY cyber short camera. PLEASE GIVER REPLY HOW TO REPAIR The Sony MVC-FD7 when I put a 3.5 floppy disk in the camera the error 13.01 shows in the viewfinder. Is there any thing I can do to help me with this problem? I have a Sony DSC-S85 Camera. After using it at a show I went home as normal to transfer the pics taken to my PC. Upon doing doing so I encountered the message "Disk Error C:13:01" while trying to download the pics to my PC. I took out the Memory stick and inserted it into a memory stick reader and got the message "the disk in drive E: is not formatted". Is there anyway I can save the pictures on the Stick before trying to format it? It is important that I get the pics and mpgs on the memory stick in question. Anyone having info other than whats posted here, please send me an e-mail at nazi-b@caribsurf.com or partygrenada@caribsurf.com my sony dsc-p73 digital still camera an error message Re: SONY C:13:01 ERROR how to fix the error my sony dsc-p73 digital still camera an error message Re: SONY C:13:01 ERROR how to fix the error i was using my cam , then suddenly it showed that memory stick error C:13:01 i have 128 mb and a brand new 256mb memory stick and still i have this problem thanks Here's my experience so far trying to resolve C 13 01 with a failing Memory Stick and saving my photos on the stick. The C 13 01 error just means that the camera can't read the card, whatever the reason may be. May it be the card, the camera, or dirt in between. In my case it's the card that's had it (second hand Lexar 64 MB Memory Stick) after a lady in a cyber café in the Fes medina, Marocco, shoved it in and out of all the wrong slots. My camera can't read it, my card reader can't read it (unless I press n squeeze really hard but it doesn't work well enough to be useful - the drive appeared "busy" and couldn't be read) but my friend's card reader read it easily, so try with a lot of different readers before you give up, folks! Don't format if you intend to save the pictures. We tried the PC Inspector Smart Recovery but unfortunately this software could only report that the data was too heavily damaged and the software failed to do anything at all. If anyone got a tip on other recovery software that has worked for them in a similar situation, I'd be glad to hear from you! I even "protected" marked my best photos, as I took them, in fear of loosing them (my friend accidentally erased his) but still, I can't acquire them! Still hoping though. My Cybershot DSC-T1 LCD screen is black. I can view past pictures, and I can take them, but all the pictures turn out black!! If anyone has any insight or knows how to fix it, Please email me at Nadawriter@gmail.com. Thanx!
