thanks horace!!!(10th nov 06) your a bloody legend !!!thought those pics were as good as gone !!! great forum !! cheers guys !! I took the card out...twisted it gently..even heard a "twick" sound..put it back and the freaking thing worked...happy to go... just give it a shot or two and the camera works just give it a shot or two and the camera works I am using a new DSC-T9 camera and got the error message after taking 100+ pictures on a 1 Gb Memory Stick Pro Duo card. What do I do!! This is horrible. My entire vacation is on that. Hey Guys, using windows vista rc2, formated the memory stick with fat and defaul values selected, and voilá! sorry about my english... I love Brazil Ok, I thought hitting the camera was a joke - but after 45 minutes of looking for a solution I hit it (twice) and guess what? It works now.............. Go SONY! I have the same problem as you do, but I reckon the problem is from the memory stick and not the camera. I accidentaly dropped my Sony T50 and since then, I had that problem. I tried the memory stick on another Sony T50 and it does not work. I tried another memory stick on the T50 that I dropped and it works fine... Well I'll be darned! We had an FD83 showing that error and I tried a few things. Before scrapping the camera I gave it a couple of good strong "technical taps" on the disk drive. I actually said "Well I'll be Dam&^d! That worked!" I have hit other things to get them to work (no kids by the way) but I thought this would be too much for this. You just made some happy 4th graders! to format the stick all you need to do is put it in your computer. go to my computer, right click and format (make sure you back up any pictures you want before you format because it will delete all files on the memory stick. |
