I am having difficult dubbing Dvds from my DVs. I think they are dubbing alright, but I am unsure about when/if to finalize the video. I want the whole DV to be dubbed onto the DVD and then be able to play it back using my computer and/or watch it using a DVD player. The manual doesn't seem to address when/if to finalize and how. Thanks! Sorry I forgot to mention the website so I am re-posting. Pechorin.com

I have a JVC DVD Player Model# XV-Np10s. I had been playing CD's without any problems. Then I wanted to change the User Background to another one. So I inserted a cd with the needed backgrounds. After choosing the background it said," Saving Please Wait". After a little bit, it changed the screen and went blank and on the DVD display screen, it showed "75". I tried to eject, tried to power off, and nothing worked. The green power on light stayed lit. Then I tried to reboot the player by unplugging it and waiting for awhile before plugging back up. The DVD player still had the green power light lit, and the display screen was blank, and selecting any button, didn't change anything. So, then I decided to unplug it again, but for at least an hour or more and see what happens then. Again, I plugged it back in, and still the green power light was lit, no display screen. So, could you please tell me if I need a new DVD player or maybe this is something simple, I'm overlooking. Thank you!

Hi, I have a model AV-31BP6. We are getting a slight snowy effect (the picture isn't as clear as usual) with a slight wavy line down the left side. We have a cable box hooked up to it, but until 3 days ago we have had no problems. This occurs while the tv/cable is on and also when watching a VHS tape, but not with DVD's. Our other tv's are hooked up to cable and are all fine. This tv is 12 years old, but we want to be sure that it's a 'terminal' problem before buying a new one since we have never had any problems with it. Thanks! Dan

I am trying to connect my camera to my PC in order to view and edit my videos, and hopefully transfer them to DvDs. Unfortunately, my computer is not recognizing the camera when I plug in the USB cable. I installed both the G.726 Decoder and photo navigator from the disc that came with the camera, and have tried going through my PC's "add hardware" program in the control panel, but nothing happens or is even recognized. When I right-clicked and explored the software disc, and tried to manually install the USB mass storage class driver, the install process comes up, the said "windows 98 only" and immediately shuts down. I assume this is the problem, but am I now out of luck because I have XP? I am really stuck, so hopefully you can help. The model number is GR-D270U. The part number for the USB is QAM0538-001 in case you need that as well.
