My JVC GR-D20EK camcorder only displays vertical colored lines and almost no picture (just colred shadows). Everything else works fine but it will not display a picture on the LCD screen or the Veiwfinder only vertical lines of color and shadows. Can you please give some hint of what is the problem and if can be repaired? Thanks in Advance

Dear Stacy, The message I get is reattach battery. This doesn't stop the JVC GR-SXM330u from eating tapes. This camcorder has been used less than 20 hours but, it is out of warranty. The internet is full of messages from consumers having the same problem as me. What will JVC do to resolve my problem? I think JVC should absorb the cost of this repair or replace the unit even though the warranty is expired due to the large number of consumers with the same problem. Steve Mullins

I have a front end tuner problem on a JVC AV-27330 T.V. Chassis #A110. Dated 2002 and began acting up about 1 year later after warranty.Canadian purchase. It is a thermal problem and affects only the cable F connector input. When T.V warms up, I lose channels 2 to 6, 14 and 15. Shortly after that the remaining channels go, including audio. I used a hair dryer on cold setting in the back of the set which brings back the channels. Is this a common problem? I am a former T.V tech but have no gear now. I can handle a technical reply though. Also, what is the service menu code? Any free service manuals? I was told to mention www.pechorin.com. Thanks.
