My JVC GR-D20EK camcorder only displays vertical colored lines and almost no picture (just colred shadows). Everything else works fine but it will not display a picture on the LCD screen or the Veiwfinder only vertical lines of color and shadows.
Can you please give some hint of what is the problem and if can be repaired?

Thanks a lot for you time and for the advises.
I have already send my enquiry to JVC in UK, Greece and United Arab Emirates. I hope that somebody will reply some time ;-).

You dont actually say if this is fault is when playing back something already recorded, or if this is what you see after switching on and with the camera pointing at something? If the latter applies, then it could be a variation on the well known lens cap problem that JVC are fixing free of charge.
