I have a JVC camcorder that is less than 1 year old. The original battery went dead within a couple of months. JVC replaced it since it was under warranty. Bought another battery. Both the new JFC replacement battery and the new battery that I bought for $90.00 will no longer work! The camera will only turn on if it plugged into an electrical outlet. What is the problem with this camera?!!!!? It has not been used very often. It looks like it is charging the battery, but, when you unplug the camera, it will not turn on! The battery is a Lithium Ion model BN-V408U. What do you suggest? I cannot afford to keep buying expensive batteries! Thank you, Audrey Coronado

I have a JVC 35' tv that just went to blue screen. I have it and another tv connected to DISH satellite service. The DISH service representative says I need to set the tv to AIR so he can help me complete a channel search. I tried to change the setting but cannot tell whether I am on AIR or CABLE. Neither one changes the status of the screen - which is still blue. Can you tell me how to set the tv up to run this channel scan? NOTE: The other tv is working fine after I reset the box for the satellite.

Hi. I have a JVC GR-D90U, about 2 years old. It absolutely stopped working. I.e. it will not power up either with/without the AC adapter. The battery was at about 8 volts, and the AC adapter was putting out about 10 (I just have an old analog VOM). I did some minor disassembly and can see that voltage is going into the ac jack, there is no visible damage, and it looks like the ribbon cable from the power/mode switch is connected O.K. Suggestions? I bought the camera about 2 years ago and it has seen very light use. I don't want to spend $300 to fix a $350 camera that I can buy used for much less then the repair cost. I charged it the week before it stopped working and everything appeared normal (blinking red charge light) Thanks for answering my questions. If it is just a matter of trying a new AC adapter or battery - that's worth a shot - my nearest service center is 40 miles away, so I don't want to go on a wild goose chase.

I have a GR-D72U digital video camera and all of a sudden I can't see anything but a black screen on both the LCD and view finder. When I play stuff that was already recorded, it shows up fine. I just can see anything when I record and it shows a black screen when I play it back. It does record the sound, just no video. HELP! Thanks, Mark
