Dear Stacy, The message I get is reattach battery. This doesn't stop the JVC GR-SXM330u from eating tapes. This camcorder has been used less than 20 hours but, it is out of warranty. The internet is full of messages from consumers having the same problem as me. What will JVC do to resolve my problem? I think JVC should absorb the cost of this repair or replace the unit even though the warranty is expired due to the large number of consumers with the same problem. Steve Mullins
