I have a JVC GR-D270US camcorder. I was recently using it and all of sudden (in the middle of operation) got a E01 saying "Unit if safeguard mode, remove and reattach battery." Well doing this did not solve any problems. I was wondering if you could help me this? Thanks, Eric

My SONY JVC sku 4468533 tells me that I need to have it cleaned. My problem is my warranty ran out last month March 2006. What can I do now. Best buy was going to charge me an outrageous price to get it cleaned. I never received anything in the mail stating that my warranty was running out. Is their anything I can do?

Dear Stacy, We have a JVC GR-DX77U has worked fine for a year, suddenly has a new tape being put in it -just going in with tape door closed - when the camera gave us a E01 Error "unit in safeguard mode, remove attached battery" warning. I have a JVC Camcorder and the place to put the tape won't close properly and also the camcorder keeps telling me it is in safe mode, I have read the book and can't find anything out on the safe mode product, it tells me to remove the battery and put it in again, which I have done and it is still in safe mode and the tape won't close properly please help. Hi my name is Vana and i just bought a JVC Digital Video Camera model no.GR-D244U at a yard sale. It did not come with instructions, i was woundering why the camera was not recording. It says it is recording but when i push playback there's nothing that has been recorded. I would appreciated if you could help me with this problem.

Please advise me on what to do with my JVC GRD90U Camcorder. The problem is the camera reads "Condensation Operation Paused" and will not do a thing. There is NO reason for condensation, it was only used a few times (purchased June 2003) and was kept in a case on a shelf (not to cold or hot). I understand this is very commom problem with this camcorder. Please help! Thank you Rita
