Ive already checked the video output selector for multicolor ( NTSC and PAL) but still the same. The tapes and cd's are working well except i watched vcd or dvd. I have a JVC GR-D90U and when I turn on the camera it tells me that the lens cap is still on when it is not and the recorder records sound, but no image and the display is black as if the lens cap were still on. Can you please let me know what the error is so I can get it fixed.

Hi Stacy. I have a model GR-DVL210U Ser#126H0154. I is giving an error message of "EO3" and detach and remove battery in Safeguard mode". Of course, we have removed and recharged the battery. It still won't playback and makes a strange noise as the motor engages or disengages. Sometimes won't accept the tape. The local person said we might have to send the unit to Houston. Any ideas? Thanks

I am having a problem with my JVC VHSC camera - the model is GR-axm230. Last night I connected the ac cord to the camera and was able to play back video. Then I set the camera to charge the battery. Now the battery is fully charged, but the ac adapter won't work. I tried taking the battery off, leaving the battery on, changing outlets, etc. Nothing works. Am I missing something here?

I have a JVC Camcorder and the place to put the tape won't close properly (the tape is stuck) and also the camcorder keeps telling me it is in safeguard mode, I have read the book and can't find anything out on the safe mode product, it tells me to remove the battery and put it in again, which I have done and it is still in safe mode and the tape won't close properly please help. Regards Mona

Stacy, Hello! Can you please tell me why when I am recording a VHS to a DVD when the DVD is full and I place a new DVD in the machine to continue recording, the VHS rewinds automatically. I have a DR-MV1S machine. Thank you very much! Mark
