Assistance with JVC product

    I have problem in JVC camcorder JVC GR-DX75AH. I am having trouble getting a picture on my camcorder. When I turn it on I only see black through the lens and/or through the screen. It looks like the cap is still on the lens. Constantly gives the lens cap warning in automatic and manual modes, even if I have removed the lens cap. It only record the sounds. LCD is black with only the warning message. Kindly suggest some solution to this problem. Thanks in advance, Padma from NJ

    I am getting the same error, just before that I started getting a strange tape eject error.

    I have a JVC GR-D30U and am trying to transfer video from the camera to my Windows XP laptop. I have tons of ram, lots of proccessor, but after i capture about 1 minute of video the software freezes. I am using Muvee and or Ulead video studio and both have this problem. Can you either reccomend what I am doing wrong, or tell me a better software to use. Thanks Dan

    HI Stacy, Thanks for your help. I purchased a GR-DF470AA Video camera 3 months ago. All was going well for the first month or so, but now whenever I use the camera weather it is indoors or out the camera starts to flicker as if it is trying to adjust for the light changes. How can I stop this. I have to record a large dance performance for the school in 2 days and need my camera working perfectly. The screen seems to go light and dark trying to adapt for the light at a guess. Your prompt reply would be greatly appreciated. Cheers Sue

    I bought a JVC DVD player 9 years ago. Model number XV-D2000 BK. Serial number 12301425. This model only read DVD disc having a Region 3 or All code. Not like the new models nowadays wherein you can play any discs whatever code it has. Can JVC convert my DVD player into a multi region code? Can JVC convert my DVD player to read & play any discs? Since I am in Philippines, can you guide me to which JVC office in Philippines can do such conversion? Please help. Regards, Carlos

    My JVC Model No. GR-D90U, Serial No. 17741782, keeps repeating a statement unit in safeguard mode, remove and reattach battery. What can I do to solve this problem. Thank you, Lydia Martin
