My JCV camcorder (its new) gives a e02 code. It says safeguard mode. I took the battery off for hours, unhooked the charger. Nothing helps. This happens with tape in, or with tape out. I see others on the internet complaining about e02 unresolved issues. Is this just a badly designed JCV product? What shall I do?

Hello;I have a JVC AV27020 tv and while watching it it went out the red LED in front flashes when pluged in after about 5 sec, I opened it up and found a 1.25A fuse under a couple of wire wound resistors had blown, After replacing the fuse still have the same result with the TV. I spoke with a customer service rep and she told me to send this to: JVC Service and Engineering 705 Enterprise Street Aurora, IL 60504 for problem resolution. The problem with the camera is that when ever I turn it on the LCD screen I get a black screen with the hand in the lower left and the two indicators blinking in the center. It also gives the Lens cap error till i put the cap on and remove it a couple of times. I have only recorded two tapes with this unit. It has been like this for 9 months and I have not had time to get it fixed. I informed her that i am an employee of Best Buy and could send it through our service center but she convinced me by stating that the camera would be repaired at no charge. I just received an estimate for the repair for $235. My employee cost on this unit is not much more than this repair. I also notice on the web this is a current issue with several camera from this memo. Can you resolve this issue? I am a long time user of JVC products. All TV's and several other components are JVC. I have a JVC GR-DVL 166 Digital Video Camera that shows a E01 error indication message. The camera is now locked in this situation I hace disconnected the battery several times then replaced without success. Could you please help Regards Dave Linsley

I have JVC MiniDV Camcorder, Model GR-D250U, one year old. When I turn unit on, the viewfinder reads “Unit in Safeguard Mode. Remove and Reattach Battery.” Even after removing and reattaching the battery the problem persists. In addition, the tape will not eject. Thanks for any help

On screen Menu I have hade this TV for 2 Years now and I love it, But about a month ago the on screen menu quit working. I don't see the volume, channels, or input menus as well. Now this hasn't ben a problem so far, but I got HiDef Cable last week an I have noticed that my Convergence is off and and I need to get in and Adjust it. Any Ideas? We have a problem with our JVC GR-D72U. We keep getting the lens cap error, when the lens cap isn't on. The LCD and view finder are both black. Please help
