I have a JVC AV-32980. Out of nowhere the TV will not turn on. It would not respond to the remote or to simply pressing the ON button on the front of the TV. I checked the power and it was ok. Unplugged it and plugged it back in and nothing. Then, I happened to press the ON and MENU buttons on the front of the TV simultaneously and now the red ON light keeps blinking on and off and making a clicking sound (similar to the click normally associated with the TV turning on and off. Any ideas?

Hi, I have a JVC GR-DVL1020EA video camera. It is now one month out of extended warranty and I am getting an E01 error and sometimes an E02. The tape is stuck and the tape loading mechanism is stuck halway in halfway out. I would just like to get my tape out. This is the second time it has done this, it was returned for repair during the warranty period. I was getting an E01 or E02 every now and then but removing the battery and reataching it worked. Now its totally stuck. Please help if you can. Is there maybe a way of manually removing the tape? I am not too concerned about the camera, I am buying a new one. Regards John

Hi, I have a JVC camcorder model GR-DX95U. It's serial number is 15820217. I cannot get an image on the screen. The screen only shows vertical lines in shades of brown. A friend of mine looked at it and thinks it has an internal problem, having to do with the CCD chip. If that is the case, how much would repair on my camcorder cost?

I was able to download video and make a small movie using my laptop with windows XP. I have since purchased a desk top with windows vista and although i can transfer the files (and even watch them) there is NO SOUND. The sound exists in the footage because i can watch it on the JVC Camera and hear the sound just fine. It's only when i transfer the file to my computer with windows vista. Do you have any advice for me? It's a JVC GZ-MG21u HDD. If you could help me, i would really appreciate it. Thanks Muhamed

I have the GR-D70US camcorder. It started getting interference on the screen, then it went blank with the words "Lens Cap" flashing on the screen even though the lens cap is not on. I can view the menus and even what was previously recorder but I cannot record anything new. I have powered it off and on, removed the battery for several weeks and nothing changes. It appears that no signal is coming from the lens. Is there anything I can check or replace to fix this problem?

I have a JVC GR-DX77U MiniDV camera that is showing a message "E03 Unit in safeguard mode" I did what the manual says but nothing and also called a JVC Dealer in DC but they charged $65 for the estimate so I dont want to pay that amount if the problem is simple or if is better to get a new video camera because if that is the option, I will prefer to save money again, until I will be able to get a new one, probably another brand. My JVC GR-D32U shows streaked lines whenever I turn it on, whether in play mode or record. They are different color streaked lines, blurring the entire image. I left it in my trunk, the camera, while it was cold in Syracuse a few nights. Could this have damaged the lens?
