I have the GR-D70US camcorder. It started getting interference on the screen, then it went blank with the words "Lens Cap" flashing on the screen even though the lens cap is not on. I can view the menus and even what was previously recorder but I cannot record anything new. I have powered it off and on, removed the battery for several weeks and nothing changes. It appears that no signal is coming from the lens. Is there anything I can check or replace to fix this problem?

    "FULL" info sent via "DIRECT" e-mail which includes details of the procedure used to obtain the free repair on this particular fault, provided that you are the original purchaser of the camcorder and have evidence to prove it.
