Hi I have a JVC Digital Video Camera model #GR-D3OU . Everything works on it except when i record.There is no picture just a bunch of black and white lines.Sound is there when recording .Is something not set up the right way in the menu section.Is there a reset button.i lost my book it came with..i hope it's a simple solution.

when i turn on to record on the screen it say's "lens cap". the lens cap is off and nothing can be seen from the screen or view finder. Is it worth fixing Model GD-D30U Thanks for any help

Hello, when i turn on my JVC GR-DX25EK the screen is black and it shows a message "lens cap" even though the lens cap is off. If i put the lens cap on then take it off the message comes off, but the screen is still black and you cannot see through the eye part. That is black as well.

Hi stacy, I bought a JVC Gr-d31ek camcoder from Ireland 3 years back. In meanwhile I did not use that Camera for 8 months and after that when i used next time, there was a problem with that cam. It stopped charging itslf. It is showing that it is being charged but once i put the charging lead it runs out. I m not able to find what could be the problem. Should i change the battery or put it to repair sho. I m in india right now and i m very upset. Can u help me what shoul i DO? Your responce in this concern will be appreciated........ Hello! I have encountered the same problem as others with my GR-D22U video camera, I have copied their message. Can you help? GR-D22 not recording. I have a JVC GR-D22 Digital Video Camera (about 1.5 yr. old). It had been working fine. But a few months ago it did not work anymore. The LCD screen is on, but a black picture. When you first turn it on, the reminder to remove the lens cap flashes (lens cap is off). Then that will go away and still no picture. All the dates and everything else is showing up on the screen but no picture. I have tried to adujust it according the guide but no help. Same thing is showing up in the small view finder. Hi, I have a JVC camcoder (Gr-DX77u), which zooms in automatically as soon as I turn it on. If I zoom out, it goes back to zoom 40X by itself. I hope you have some tricks to correct this. Bye!
