I have a JVC Super VHS model number smx250u and it went into safe mode and we do not know how to get it out. I can not find my manual and really love using the camcorder. Please help! Found your forum on pechorin.com

Hi,Help I have a DR-MV1S VHS & DVD combination and it performs superbly but the unit keeps shutting down by its self and looses the Time Date & Year settings. Pull the plug out from the electric socket then replace the plug and it starts working again for about 8hrs this proceedure can be carried out continualy to keep it working. Please note: this unit has a energy save select but this is set off. I have checked the 250V/T2AL fuse on the Primary board and is okay and the cooling fan works okay. The only thing noted is a very slight blackening/burning around the cooling block element at the center of the primary board. Thanks Roger.

I was given a JVC 60D501 Rear projection tv. This was due to the tv having what appears to be a Horizontal hold issue. The screen looks like the h hold is constantly jumping. so basically has what appears to be several of the same image in the various three color crts and the standard all in one multicolor picture all fluttering about from top to bottom with a slight vert scew as well. If this thing has a vert and h hold adjust ment I haven't been able to find it unless it is tide into the focus adjustment box located in the bottom from of the console in between two of the crt assemblies. Please help, would love to get this thing running. Or if anyone can direct me to a service manual would be great.

It didn't come with a user's manual and I want to know how to set the date and time and also if there is anyway a can download a user's manual for free. I have a JVC GR-D32U. The view finder and the screen show black and say the lens cap is on, even when it is not. You can not record any picture, but you can record sound. It will play back video from previous tapings. It worked great until today. Not sure what to do. My parents are going on a cruise and want to tape theri journey. Any help would be great......

Hi, I had given my JVC TV model no: AV-29WX3; Sl. No: 13780225 29" for repair in Goa at a JVC-Onida Service Centre. The complaint written was as follows: As TV is switched On the screen turns white and goes on standy by after 10 seconds where its directly switched off. When I went to collect the bill, I was supprised as the Service Charges was Rs.1000/- and component charges Rs.245/- I would like to know the Service Charges from the company because as per the technician said they have charged me Service Charges of Rs.1000/- mentioned by the company of Adonis.
