I have a JVC GR-D30 model. I could not get picture in any operation mode. I can replay back and record but only record sound no picture is taken. When I turn the camera on I get the "lens cap" message. After a while a low contrast warning message appears and stays on. I reset the camera and still does it. A friend of mine use a USB cable to donwload some image to his ilife in his powerbook. I was not present therefore I could not tell what he did. Can you please help?

Hello I have a JVC digital camera, I picked up about two years ago and now the screen is scrambled and tell me to get it cleaned. I did but still wont work Im wondering if I want to have it looked at and repaired where would the location be that I would send the camera to? I live in toronto is there a JVC repair factory? Also my friend mentioned to me I shouldnt bother and just to buy another I find this troublsome to hear because I cant afford to buy another and my friend tells me the cost alone to repair my camera isnt going to be worth it what should I do?

Hello, we have a JVC TV; model AV-27730. All of a sudden it turned off by itself and is blinking a "timer on" light on the front panel. There is no picture at all anymore. We have tried unplugging it and plugging it back in, but cannot get any picture back. Do you know how to resolve this? Thanks, Mark

I have a JVC GR-AX7GYU camcorder that will not power up/turn on. I got the multimeter out and bat tested good and I replaced the 3v bat also. Any sugestions?

Hi - Hopefully you can help with this. I have a JVC GR-D27OU MiniDV camcorder and its only got about 100 hours on it - very low use. Suddenly it will not Load/Eject a tape properly and if i do manage to get a tape to load I get a SafeGuard mode error usually 03, 04 or 01. I cant get the cam to do anything at this point except open/close (sometimes) and occasionally it will accept a casette, but do nothing. I've tried battery removal/restarts endlessly with no results. Please advise what I can do, the cam is in near new shape and should have had plenty of life in it. Thank you! D

hi, I have a jvc gr-d27ou #060n6979. It has been working fine until just today I tried to eject and change the tape and now it seems to be stuck in 03 safeguard mode. We have barely had this camcorder a year, is there anything that I can do. I tried removing the battery but that didnt work. Please let me know asap. thanks Rita
