Hi! I have a JVC UX-S59 Micro Cd system which has started to display Error 162 on the screen. This seems to be a fairly common problem viewing by various internet posts.I can't open the cd trays and the cd's won't play. Can you give me any helpful advice or contacts in the U.K. to be able to get this repaired. Regards Jono'

Unit is a JVC GR-D270U handheld recorder. The tape eject fucntion is not operating. When you open the bottom door the tape casement does not pop up or out as usual. Have not tryed to pry it or anything nor has the unit been dropped. Trying to figure out how to be able to use the unit. The screen displays "safeguard mode" when turned on. Thanks! Brian

I just got back in town. Looks like we had a power outage, possible electrical storm. My TV power light is on, but no picture/sound. 27" JVC DSeries about 3 years old. Any suggestions. The cable is working fine. I plugged up to another TV and it works. Could the TV been struck by lighting? Everything else in the house works fine.

Hi, i have a JVC GR-DX25EK. Whenever i turn it on, it says eject and reinsert tape, unit in safeguard, with a code thing at the top saying EO3. Do you know if there is anything i can do to fix it? Many thanks, Sophie

i can not get my camcorder to focus. it give me a error reading lens cap on but it's not on. plus i can't see what i'm shooting at through the viewfinder. can you help me. tony

I have a JVC DR-MV1BEK dvd video recorder (serial number 169B0192). i have been very pleased with the machine as it allows me to put my favourite video tapes on to dvd. Recently however it has started to behave very strangely. When you first switch the machine on it flashes loading and within half a minute or so it switches itself off. In order to switch it on again you have to remove the plug from the mains, replug it and then it will come on again for a few seconds and then switch itself off. You then have to unplug it, replug it and again it will come on for a brif period and switch itself off. It never stays on long enough for you to be able to do anything. I have been advised to plug it into a surge resistant bit of cable and this I have done, but there has been no change. I love the machine and am therefore thinking of purchasing another one from the Uk, but if this problem is endemic to this particular model i shall have to think again. the thing is that i have not been able to find another machine that does the dubbing. Your thoughts on a solution to this problem please. Thanks and best regards. Philip King.
