Assistance for Error Codes

If anyone is having any kind of Error code, clean head icon or any other concern, contact me first before assuming you have a problem. My e-mail is Ssample@jvc.com.

I am knowledgeable and have helped many people past their error codes without service. Several things can cause error codes and I would be more than happy to assist you in determining if you do indeed have a problem and what options you have available.

Please refer to this site if you contact me. Thank you.

Error 0280 on Hitachi mv350a DVD camera : It looks the dvd had bad spots that could not be read. After getting frustrated trying to get any info from Hitachi manuals and support, I just decided to try to extract the data directly from the dvd(fujitsu dvd-r disk). Since my DVD was not finalized I could not copy the files directly using Windows Explorer, so I tested several applications and here it's what worked for me: I downloaded isobuster (www.isobuster.com), and I was able to view the tracks on the dvd, then I used the "Extract" option to create an image directly from the faulty dvd and it created a couple of files with the extension .ibq. I checked these ibq files and two of them were huge, so I assumed those were my video data. I renamed these files from *.ibq to *.vob(isobuster has options to extract these "image files", but you need to register it first...), anyways I tried to open these new vob files with PowerDVD and they PLAYED JUST FINE :)! Finally I just used a DVD editor to load the new .vob files and I burnt a new DVD. I hope it will save you guys some time...

Go to Windows Media Player Select "Tools" menu item; then "Options." There are numerous tabs in this menu. Make sure you are on the "Player" tab. Then check the box marked "Connect to the Internet." After I did this--mine started working.

I have a portable Panasonic DVD-LS50 player. When I turn it on with a DVD in, an error code appears in the top right corner of the screen. The code is H03. It appears for about 4-5 seconds and then the screen just displays the DVD audio/video picture. It will not play the DVD. I have read through my manul about five times and it says if a code like this appears, I should contact my dealer. I do not want to contact a dealer cause I can not afford to repair something like this at this time. Please let me know if there is any way I can possibly fix this player. Thanks.

With the Panasonic LS50 portable DVD player error codes can sometimes be solved by turning on your device, taking out any disk, closing the tray and pushing the back skip, pause, and play buttons at the same time. Hold this for about 4 seconds and the screen will go blank then "initializing" will appear and your player will read your disks again. Hopefully. Alternatively you need to remove the back cover being careful not to damage the cables. You will find the servo motor and laser lamp on a metal structure connected to the body by three rubber suspensions, remove the whole structure and turn it upside down. Slowly move the small black rotating joints up or down, you will notice the shaft will start rotating and the laser lamp will move away from the servo motor releasing it from where it can get stuck. Return the back cover and screw the 12 screws and you are done.
