I onw a Panansonic SC-HT650. I keep getting this F61 code. It turns itself off after about 15 seconds. What can I do? I paid $300 for this machine. It worked well for about 2 years.

Am constantly getting the "31:23" error code when, as far as I can tell, there is no fault with the camera [HDR FX1E] and nothing wrong with the tape (in today's case, the head cleaning tape that the camera has just told me to use!). Past experience suggests the only solution is to wind/rewind a whole tape by hand - ie with a paper clip to hold the cassette 'open' and a pencil with an eraser to move the tape. Neither a fast, efficient or very high-tech answer. Is there a better one? David

Hi, I found your name on this web site and have a Sylvania DVR90F and am getting the same error code Recording Error Can not record on this disk E22 It has recorded just fine for a year and just started this. It will play a disk just fine but will not record. I also had a DVD that had just two movies on it and it will play them but will not allow me to finalize it. Did you ever resolve this? I have also unplugged it over night and it did not help. Since it will play others I do not think it is the laser. thanks for any help you can give Shelia Mansfield Texas

Hi, I have a PC 100 Sony and we had it repaired last year for the same problem and paid $200. We have used it unly 3x since than. Error code C:31:30 and a yellow arrow pointing up in the middle of the screen I have tried what everyone says "smack it" but that did not work. Do you know of a botton that will eject the tape? :) Silvia

Hi Stacy, My Sony Cybershot T5 has the error code E91:01 and the camera gates warm and the battery runs down in 15/20 mins. During this period every thig else works ok and I can take pictures. please can you help Nicky I found your email via Google and the Pechorins web site.

Hello- I hope this email is still working. I have a Sony BVW-22 Betacam SP player and it is giving me an Error-2 message. I takes the tapes, runs throug the head back and forth, then stops and gives the message. I eject it. Try to put another tape in and it won't take it. I HAVE A SONY 51" REAR PROJECTOR. THE TV WILL TURN ON FOR ABOUT A MIN. THEN GOES OFF. THE COLORS ARE NOT LINED UP AND THE PICTURE IS TO HIGH ON THE SCREEN. ALSO RED LED IS FLASHING A CODE 7. THANK YOU FOR YOUR HELP GREG GORDON
