Hi Guys, I don't know what I'm doing but am willing to try. I need a manual or schematic for JVC AV-56WP74. I am having the same convergence problems as everyone else. well people, it seems that i am not alone. i cant believe that this is such a common occurance. i emailed tracy asking for the guide, im just curious how much of a task this is for a rookie because i would definantly like to tackle this myself.

It is a 2.2 Ohm 1 Watt resistor at 5% Varience. Look for 2 red bands followed by 2 gold ones on the replacement. I had a little bit of trouble finding one in Louisville. I finally got one at a place called "Master Distributors" for about 60 cents. I replaced mine with a 2 Watt resistor to hopefully prevent a future burnout.

Hi Eric, I'm having the same convergence issue with my JVC AV-48WP30. The R842 resistor is obviously blown. Could you send me a copy of the schematics, I can't tell what type of resistor this is. Thanks! -Chris

I'm having the EXACT same problem on an AV56WP74 (56" iArt). The Green and Blue looks fine, but the Red is unable to converge horizontally. Any help (schematics, etc.) would be great. Thanks! Also has anyone else tried complaining to JVC? I did, but so far have been totally ignored. JVC has yet to even reply. It seems to me that if all of us are having the same problem JVC manufactured a defective product.

Eric, since you are "THE MAN", maybe you could help as well. On my AV-48WP30 the top left corner bends up with double images as well as bottom right. I have checked with the crosses but it is those two that will not cooperate. Thank for the help. Ken

I WAS WONDERING IF I CAN BE HAVING THE SAME PROBLEM. I HAVE A AV-56WP74 ONLY A FEW YEARS OLD AND JUST A FEW DAYS AGO THE PICTURE IS SHOWING DOUBLES, RED AND GREEN. SHOULD I CALL SOMEONE OR CAN SOMEONE SHOW ME A SIMPLE WAY? THANK YOU.

I am having problems with my HV-53PRO as well and would like to know if you can please send me the manual to reset my convergence. There are blue pictures making everything double on my screen. Just started 30 min ago...HELP!!! :) Alan

I'M ALSO HAVING PROBLEMS WITH A MODEL AV-48WP30. NOW THE RED WILL NOT MOVE HORIZONTALY AND APPEARS TO HAVE A CONCAVE DIP IN IT. IT SEEMS TO HAPPEN AFTER SHORTY AFTER THE TV HAS BEEN MOVED. COULD SOMEONE SEND ME THE REPAIR INFO PLEASE.
