Convergence went out today on my 2 1/2 year old AV-48WP30. Found this thread and would very much appreciate the guide and schematic that have been sent to others. Thanks so much. Doug

Eric- I have looked all over for an answer to my covergence problem with my 48" JVC tv. Can you send me any guides or provide any info that can help me replace the parts myself? Any info will help me out...thank you very much...so glad I found this thread.

I dont know if that model is compatible but the problem I had was that all colors were in sync, even the red but for some reason there was a wavy red line like a rainbow across my screen. No matter what I did i could not fix it till eric helped me. He's the Man around here but maybe someone that same model and problem you have. Good Luck.

Me, too, on a 56WP74. Red only goes horizontally. Soundls like the same IC804 STK. If so are the part numbers the same and where can I find a schematic?

I am having problem with green being off on the upper left and lower right, and a streak in the center of the screen. The tv is three years old. Just started when I turned the tv on. Is it the same problem as the green? Can someone send me a schematics please? Thanks in advance.

I fixed it using two STK392-110 ic's I bought for $7 a piece from ebay. Remove the front plastic enclosure. You should see a wood access panel. The circuit board with the two ic's is located just inside the access panel. A piece of cake if you have the right tools (desolder and soldering equipment). I noticed the original ic's has a small drop of heat sink compound. This probably lessened the life of those ic's. I made sure I covered the whole back side with the stuff. My $1,000 + tv now works by replacing less than $20 worth of parts! I am glad I found this thread!!

My jvc av-48wp30 has the red convergence problem too. May I also please have a copy of the schematic? Thanks in advanced. Duane
