EDIT ABOVE^^^^ i changed the stk392110 not stk392100 also... here is a pic of someone elses screen. my tv does not look like this all my lines are straight. the red is just off to left and cant be adjusted side-to-side. http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v230/sadiesinner/tv800x600a.jpg

well i changed the stk392100 for IC804 and everything is the same as before the problem isnt a rainbow effect across the top of the screen in the convergance on-screen menu to line up the lamps, the red wont move left or right, it will move up and down. it is off to the left about 1 1/2". does anyone know what is causing this?

problem with convergence, it cannot be adjusted. If anyone can send information on how to repair problem that would be great.

Well I did what was described in the posts but I am not a success story like the others. I desoldered the 110s and soldered the 150s. But after reconnecting the board and powering on the TV, I get no picture. The lamps do not fire. The power button is on but soon blinks in about two second increments. The only way to get the power off again is to unplug the TV. Does anyone ideas as to where I went wrong?

Well i replaced the two 110's and the green cross hairs are no longer compressed towards the middle, but now the red and blue convergence cross hairs are GONE. There are no adjustments to make on the convergence menu because its only the green. The red and blue guns are firing just fine. Anyone see this before?

JVC av56wp74 convergence problem also, red and green it seems and the repair guy is coming in the morning. Is there anything I should know so he doesn't overcharge? Does this just happen on its own or is it from being moved?

Does replacing the IC's fix the green convergence problem? Thank you, JD
